HARTLAND — There will be no calling hours or services per her wishes for Sylvia (Tillie) N. Mace, 74, a lifetime resident of Hartland, who died June 10 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hartland on Sept. 26, 1939, daughter of harry J. Ashline and Mildred Murphy.
She was married to Arnold Mace for 54 years and is survived by her children and their spouses, Brett (Kara) Mace, Kelly (Richard) Paul and Christy (John) Frink, all of Hartland. She is also survived by her brother Gordon (Daisy) Murphy, also of Hartland and seven grandchildren, Brett Mace, Jr. of Ascutney, Brian Mace of Hartland, John Frink, Jr. of Cornish, N.J., Tyler Frink of Hartland, Nicole LaBarge of White River Junction, Kristin Paul of Hartland and Cody Mace of Hartland; along with four great-grandchildren, Hunter Frink of Cornish, Braxton Mace of Windsor, Colin Mace of Ascutney and Emma Frink of Cornish, who were the lover of her life. Additionally she had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Tillie loved to tend to her flowers and garden and enjoyed her occasional ventures to Fox-woods casino.
