The music of The Twangtown Paramours has been called “Sophisticated Americana” and is a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes. The husband wife team of Mike T. Lewis and MaryBeth Zamer are two time Kerrville New Folk finalists, Wildflower Contest winners, and recent openers for Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Claire Lynch, and Joe Ely. Their newest album hit #2 on the Folk DJ Chart and was named to top 10 radio lists for 2012, including those of WFUV in New York City and WDCB in Chicago.
