Reading Volunteer Fire Department “Old Home Days” is Sunday July 6. This is a great time to visit Reading; with a lot of pop up events happening, from the center of town to the edge of the school fields.

Ducky derby, pony pulls, barbecue feast and much more. The parade starts at 11 a.m. sharp! So if you wish to be in the center of town during this procession; please show up earlier than 11 a.m. The theme for the parade is sports. Anyone can enter a float. Just show up with it and you will be judged in line, and announced in the center of town.

Library book sale 10-2 at the Universalist Church building
23rd Annual Ox Pull starting at 1 p.m. at the Reading School
8th Annual Ducky Derby at 2 p.m. – advance tickets for sale at the Reading Town Office $5 Each or (6) for $25. Top prize is a Sun Dolphin Aruba 10′ Kayak w/paddle & life vest.
