Saturday Is Super Science Day At Montshire

On Saturday, July 12 the Montshire Museum in Norwich will host its Super Science Day.
Spend the day experimenting with the physics and fun of air. Make kites to fly outside in Science Park and capture the power of air by building gliders, rockets, and parachutes at the Science Discovery Lab. It promises to be an uplifting day!

Schedule
10:30   Hoopster Gliders: Experiment with the shape of this simple glider to see how far it can glide.
11:15   Paper Airplanes: Turn a simple piece of paper into as many shapes as possible to make them spin, dive, twirl, and fly.
11:30   Hot Air Balloons: Test your own hot air balloon in the middle of the museum! Space is limited to the first 8 families that sign up, an extra $5 material fee is charged.
12:00   Straw Rockets: Use your own wind power to launch a miniature rocket.
12:45   Pocket Kites: Make a kite to test out in Science Park and take home with you.
1:30   Parachutes: Test out your parachutes by dropping them off the main balcony.
2:15   Hoopster Gliders: Experiment with the shape of this simple glider to see how far it can glide.
2:30   Hot Air Balloons: Test your own hot air balloon in the middle of the museum! Space is limited to the first 8 families that sign up, an extra $5 material fee is charged.
