Quechee Polo Club Match, 2014
The polo club in Quechee held the first of many home matches on Saturday, July 12 against Byfield, Mass. Quechee won the match 12-8.

Vermont 100 Mile Endurance Race, 2014
The Vermont 100 Mile Endurance race is the only 100-mile event in the nation where runners and horses race over the same course, and each year it has brought 400 or more long distance runners, equestrians and horses to the starting and finishing point at Silver Hill Meadows in West Windsor.

CSArt, A Crop Of Artist Unite
Artists, a direct and sustainable artist to buyer program in the Upper Valley. The first pick up event will be Friday, July 18th at the Center for Cartoon Studies, The Old Post Office, White River Jct. Buyers will gather to meet the artists who are involved in this art share program.

4-H Cattle Show
The Windsor/Windham Country 4-H Dairy Cattle Show was held on Saturday, July 19 at the Hartland Riding club.

St. James Community Outreach BBQ
The St. James Church in Woodstock held a barbecue fundraising event instead of their annual fair due to the limited space during the constuction in the church. The event was held on Saturday with proceeds of the event going to the Woodstock Community Food Shelf.

Fizz Boom Slurp Bang
As part of their Summer Reading Program, the Weathersfield Proctor Library hosted a morning of science experiments for children. “Fizz Boom Slurp Bang” is “taught” by Swanton Vermont resident Rebecca Rupp. About 18 children had the opportunity to explore chemical reactions during the almost two hour long program.

Woodstock Swim Meet
A home meet took place at Woodstock Rec Center on July 22.
