Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center will be offering a pastoral care visitation training for those interested in becoming a volunteer lay chaplain at the hospital. Lay chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support for hospital patients, their families and hospital staff and are asked to visit one day a week for 2-3 hours. The training includes eight 2-hour sessions and will begin in late summer. Those interested in becoming a lay hospital chaplain at MAHHC can obtain more information by calling Ann LaRocque, LCMHC, Director of Chaplaincy, at 802-674-7054, or emailing
Ann.LaRocque@mahhc.org.
