ROYALTON — Private services will be held for the family for Martha “MH” Washburn, 68, who passed and went with the lord on Aug. 30.
She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on Feb. 5, 1946.
“MH” was a business professional in the technology sector, which provided her global travel and a challenging and fruitful career.
She was also known for being a great host to friends, avid reader and a great lover of Patriots football. Martha touched the hearts of many with her volunteer service at Norris Cotton Cancer Center after surviving breast cancer in 1997. She enjoyed summers in Vermont and winters in Saint Simons Island, Georgia where she was actively involved in Christian Bible Studies.
Survivors include her husband Bruce G. Washburn of Royalton; two children, Brian Washburn of Carmel, Indiana, and Lisa Patno of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; and five grandchildren; and her loving dog Bentley.
She was predeceased by her loving parents J. Bernard Hevey and Katherine Hevey.
