SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 31, 2014 the Vermont State Police launched an investigation after a 30 year old female reported she was held down and inappropriately touched by an unknown male while attempting to leave a party in Mendon, VT.  After a thorough investigation, Andrew Stevens was arrested and processed at the Rutland State Police Barracks.  He was ordered held on $25,000, lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center, and ordered to appear at the Rutland County Superior Court, Rutland Unit, Criminal Division on September 2, 2014 at 12:30pm to answer to the charge of Unlawful Restraint and Lewd and Lascivious Conduct.

Due to the nature of the investigation, the name of the victim and any identifying information regarding the victim is being withheld. No other information is available at this time.
