On Sunday the Woodstock History Center hosted an Excursion to “Rum Street”, a 1.25 mile self-guided hike into Vondell Reservoir. The area known as Rum Street is where Charles M. Cobb grew up and wrote extensively in his diaries about farm life as a teenager in Vermont in the 1800s. Nancy Nutile-McMenemy Photos
