Above discounted rates apply only to customers with an annual contract with the Vermont Standard.

Earned rates remain valid when accounts are paid in full (30-days from billing date). 1.5% interest per month is added to all accounts beyond 30 days billing.

Flyer/Slip Sheet (whether printed on one or two sides)....$255.00

Tabloid (tabloid page = 96 column inches)

Minimum charge up to 4 pages......................................$325.00

Each additional page, up to 8 PAGES TOTAL ...$35.00 per page

(2 page minimum)

After 8 pages (2-page minimum).....................$28.00 per page

Advertisements of 2, 3 and 4 column inches are available on the Business Page.

Rates are $4.50 per column inch for 13 weeks or $4.00 per column inch for 26 weeks.

Copy in these ads must remain the same for the duration of its run. Ads can only be placed at the beginning of a month.

1-25 words $7.00 for the 1st week, $6.00 thereafter.

26-50 words $12.00 for the 1st week, $10.00 thereafter.

CREDIT TERMS 

Advertisers without established Vermont Standard

credit must pay cash with orders until credit is established.

Interest of 1.5% per month on display or classified accounts will be charged to those beyond 30 days of billing date.
Any advertiser having a balance over 60 days

will not be allowed to place any advertising until satisfactory arrangements are made.

IN ORDER TO DO SO, WE AK THAT YOU ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Submission deadline is Fridays 5pm for the following weeks publication. Email to vsbriefs@sover.net (preferred) or print to/mail to The Vermont Standard Office (PO Box 88, Woodstock, Vt 05091). Limit submittion to 50-75 words and include time, place and contact for events. Submission form available via email or snail mail (as above)

• Briefs can run up to four consectutive weeks prior to an event.

• The Standard reserves the right to reword your submission.

Submissions from for-profit entities will be

referred to our advertising department.

• The Standard cannot rewrite from brochures, flyers, or posters.

• No dollar amounts will be listed in Area Briefs,

but if a fee will be charged, this must be indicated.

• Check your submission for accuracy the first week of publication. Check your submissions for the "on-going" section for accuracy regularly (i.r. changes in times, etc) and submit changes as needed.
