Severe Storm Warning Until Midnight

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until midnight for Windsor County and much of central and southern Vermont. The National Weather Service Severe reported that the primary threat will be localized damaging winds capable of knocking down trees and power lines. Brief heavy rainfall and frequent lightning is expected with thunderstorm activity.
