How do you feel about Bentleys being back?

Bentleys, the longtime Woodstock restaurant closed March 3, leaving a void downtown.
Shortly after previous owners, Mountain Trading Company, declared bankruptcy, a company called Stonewall, headed by John Ruggieri-Lam (an attorney and part-time Barnard resident) and Maria Freddura (a Boston restauranteur), announced they were planning to take over the operation of the restaurant.

Pancakes And Perfect Pitch
The South Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department held its All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday. The fundraiser takes place twice a year, this year the Hyannis Sound an a cappella group based out of Cape Cod, Mass. entertained the guests. Listen to T Belisle talk about how he started with the group 19 years ago.

Pentangle held their annual Community Showcase on Saturday. Local talents came together to perform various act of dancing, singing, comedy and overall great entertainment at the Woodstock Town Hall Theatre on Saturday.

Special Olympics Vermont Winter Games was held in Woodstock, Vt. for the sixth consecutive year. Athletes competed in snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and snowboarding, events included a “Victory Dance” held at the Woodstock Inn.
Governor Peter Shumlin was on hand for the opening ceremonies introduced by former NBC Newscaster Bob Hager.
