WINDSOR — Linda Marie Blanchard died March 22, 2018.
A Halloween baby born in Louisiana who loved her sunshine, pink nail polish, cookies and cream frozen yogurt and TV Land. Her clothes always had the tags still on them, and her kids would always complain she slept in too much. But when she walked into a room drinking her diet coke, she would liven it up like the colors of Mardi Gras – golden yellow, hot purple and seafoam green. Blasting her late 80’s / early 90’s music, she would get the room dancing, especially with her ultimate favorite: “Love Shack.” Her kids were worried that she would become a crazy dog lady since she would stop and save a stray on the side of the road; but, the only thing that came before any dogs were her kids.
Her parents, Shirley and Dudley Bordelon; her sister Donna Chapman; her children: Nicholas and Amanda Candelier, Alexis and Heather Blanchard; and nephews: Andy and Corey Chapman, will all miss her greatly.
Her dream was to win the lottery and open an animal shelter. In support of this, we ask that you please donate to your local animal shelter/humane society, or donate to the following account, which will support (her favorite) the Upper Valley Humane Society.
